I was arriving after midnight on my first night but they were there to check in without issue, so helpful. The hotel is directly across from the train station so easy found and easy accessible. The hotel was tastefully decorated, very clean and the staff were so pleasant and keen to help. The room was beautifully decorated and again, extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent and available to 11am which was appreciated. All in all I could not fault this hotel and I’ve booked to stay again already.

The room was spacious, imaginatively furnished and very nice as was the lounge downstairs, where I sat quite a lot. I reallly liked the "history wall" where using photos and printed material the history of the hotel was outlined since the 19th century. I would love to go back, it is almost a reason for re-visiting Leeuwarden

The hotel is centrally located to everything you need and walking the entire area is super easy to navigate. It took only minutes and I was down at the canals and the shopping/walk ways. My room was quiet, spacious and clean, the bed ultra comfortable (can’t remember when I slept that well in a hotel), had a refrigerator that worked, a coffee maker and a water kettle. I will definitely stay again.
